The Environmental Impact Assessment Study (MEEP), prepared in the framework of the Strategic Planning for the development of the Port and Marina in Larnaca, was presented today, in the context of a public consultation.
The public consultation was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Stavros Michael, who pointed out that the project of reconstruction of the Port and Marina in Larnaca is the largest development project in the Republic of Cyprus, with a budget of 1.2 billion euros.
The Study was prepared taking into account the relevant national and European legislation and is a key element for the viability of the Project during the construction and operation phase.
