The authorities were mobilized after a robbery at a fruit shop in Paphos District.
According to information from Cyprus Times, around 7:30 on Friday night, two hooded men entered a fruit shop in Chad, pushed the employee, stole cash how much of an as yet unknown value and fled.
The perpetrators did not appear to have any items in their possession, so they acted quickly and managed to make off with a quantity of money.
The scene was cordoned off by the Police and intensive investigations by the authorities are continuing in order to identify the alleged perpetrators.
