Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is among the 100 most influential personalities on the planet, according to the American magazine Time.
The magazine underlines that in 2022, when Meloni won the parliamentary election, “many commentators raised concerns about her far-right party and how it would affect Europe and the rest of the world.”
“After two years, she remains < strong>popular not only in Italy, where its citizenship is 41%, despite weak economic growth, but also among Western leaders, many of whom were encouraged by the support of Meloni to Ukraine”, adds Time.
The magazine, finally, also refers to the criticism that Giorgia Meloni receives in Italy, “where she is accused of politically flirting with the extreme right, for the lack of full recognition of the rights of specific social groups and for the strict restrictions regarding the reception of immigrants”.
