“When I was 16 years old I was sexually abused by a respected family man” .
Mihalis Lolis at noon on Wednesday, May 23, was a guest on Fay Skorda's show, “Fay’s Time”
The commander of the unit dealing with racist violence made a shocking confession.
Specifically, the police officer spoke about the sexual abuse he received when he was a teenager.
“The The reason I became a police officer is because I was a sexually abused child in my teenage years. When I was 16 years old I was sexually abused by a respectable family man.
“Stole” my trust, whence we say seduction. While he was a man I trusted a great deal, at one point he abused me. No, I didn't report him. The burden I carried for the next few years is that since I didn't report it, it did it to others as well”, said Michalis Lolis, among others.
