The book “Reference to Greco” is a work of autobiographical novel, which is published for the first time, after the death of the Cretan author, with special care by the writer's faithful companion, Eleni Kazantzaki, and his close friend, Pantelis Prevelakis.

The author begins the narration from his childhood and marks the end of his story at the moment of the development of his personal great Idea which he named “Cretan Look” and the conception of the “Odyssey”
