One person died and 117 new positive coronavirus cases were detected in the occupied 18,655 tests performed in the last 24 hours.
According to the “Ministry of Health”, 17 incidents were contacts of confirmed cases and 100 were local infections.
The 39 come from Nicosia, the 29 from Kyrenia, the 22 from Famagusta, the 3 from Trikomo, the 4 from Morphou and 1 from Lefka.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the occupied areas amounts to 23,409 and deaths to 90.
