A low flight over Paphos was carried out at 10:15 on Sunday morning by Rafale fighter jets of the French Air Force.
The Rafale flew over Paphos as part of an exercise carried out by the French Republic with the participation of the aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle which is anchored off Cyprus.
According to the correspondent of Sigma, Mario Ignatiou, the exercise is purely French while it should be noted that these days in our region, the Israeli armed forces are also conducting an exercise, demarcating with NOTAM an area both in the air and in the sea area of the Eastern Mediterranean.
According to the same source, there is no cause for concern since corresponding exercises are carried out by the countries they can conduct by securing the international licenses from the competent bodies from Eurocontrol, Civil Aviation etc.
