The Greens announced a coach
Official! Omonia announced the hiring of Kjetil Rekdal for the team's bench. He is a 55-year-old Norwegian coach, who spent most of his career in his native Valerenga and Ålesund.
His last stop was Roseborg where he worked from January 2022 to June 2023, while this is the fourth time he will work as a head coach abroad. He was preceded by his passage through Leers (Belgium), Kaiserslauten (Germany) and Ham Kam (Finland).
Mr. Rekdal signed a partnership contract for 1.5 + 1 years.

The Mr. Rekdal is from Norway and is 55 years old.
The cooperation contract is for 1.5 + 1 years.
Mr. Rekdal has recorded a long successful career as a coach. Most of his career was spent with two teams, Valerenga, which he took over from the second division and led them to the league and cup, as well as Aalesund, with which he won two cups and under his guidance the Club had the best seasons in its history.
His last football station was Rosenborg BK, while before that he took over HamKam, which he promoted to Eliteserien champions.
As a footballer playing in the midfield, he made 83 appearances for the Norwegian national team and scored two goals in the final stages of World Cups, a record performance for his country's football.
Mr. Rekdal will bring with him to Cyprus mr. Geir Arild Frigard, in the position of Assistant Coach.
