With the pandemic in place, the measures sometimes strict and sometimes more relaxed, the Limassol Carnival comes to change moods and performances.

“CROWNING OF THE LIMASSIAN CARNIVAL QUEEN 2022”
Vera Efthimiou Parlalidou takes her scepter from King Limassol, is crowned queen of this year's Limassol Carnival and transforms into a good witch from fairy tales, to banish the coronavirus from our lives forever.
will take place in the presence of the Mayor of the city council and the royal family of the carnival.
The event includes a rich artistic program with the Limassol Municipality Philharmonic Orchestra, the Batukinio percussion group, the group of Cypriot guides and the Limassol cheerleaders.

The events of the Municipality of Limassol are held in accordance with the respective measures and decrees of the Ministry of Health and concern the management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to the limited number of people who is allowed to attend spectacle and event halls, in the carnival events that will be held at the Pattiheio Municipal Theater and Haroupomylos Lanitis, the participation will be done electronically through a reservation process from a website that will be announced on Monday 21.2.22. The seats are reserved in order of priority. The maximum number that a person will be able to book tickets is 2.
Participation in the carnival events is free for everyone.
Presenting a Safe Pass is required.
