The free screening program for coronavirus with rapid antigen tests of the workers continues today, Tuesday, while at the same time the control program of the general population is carried out.
Nine points in Larnaca, six in Famagusta
There will be nine sampling points in the city and province of Larnaca and six in the province of Famagusta.
Sampling points will operate in Larnaca from 07.30 to 19.30 in the church of Agios Nikolaos in Drosia, in the High School of Petraki Kyprianou, in the Community Council of Makarios Settlement, Kamares Area, Larnaca (11 Agiou Vassiliou Street), in the Catechism Schools 1 ) and at the Municipal Amphitheater of the Municipality of Dromolaxia – Meneou.
From 07.30 to 16.30 there will be a sampling point in the Industrial Area of Aradippou (FCG cafeteria area) and from 08.30 to 18.00 at the Kition Sports Center and the old Xylotympos grocery.
Sampling point will also operate from 13.30 to 19.30 at Livadia High School.
In the province of Famagusta, sampling points will operate from 07.30 to 19.30 at the Spiritual Center of the Metropolitan Church of Paralimni.
From 08.30 to 18.00 there will be sampling points in the parking lot of the “Zorbas” bakery (next to the Kappari roundabout) in Paralimni, at the Famagusta District Cadastral Office in Paralimni, at the “Onisfilos” Association in Sotiria and Dimotiro in Sotira Kokkinochorion High School “Panou Ioannou” in Frenaros.
Sampling at 17 points today in Limassol
There are 17, today Tuesday, the sampling points in the city and province of Limassol.
From 7.30 a.m. until 7.30 pm, there will be six sampling points, in “Grigori Afxentiou” square (Command), in the parking lot of “Sigma” bakery in Kapsalos, in the former “Orphanides” shopping center in K.Polemidia, in Atlantica Oasis hotel, in the municipal parking lot of the Municipality of Germasogeia (former tavern “Skaros”) and in the Community Stadium of Erimi.
Between the hours of 8.00 a.m. at 7.30 p.m. There will be a sampling point at My Mall Limassol, while the other sampling points, in the city and province of Limassol, will operate between 8.30 am. and 6.00 p.m.
These are sampling points in the TEPAK building “Andreas Themistokleous”, in Tsirio Gymnasium, in the Cultural Center Mesa Geitonias, in Polemidion High School, in Ypsonas Town Square, in the Council of Linopetra High School, in the Gymnasium of Agios Polthas, in the Gymnasium of Agios Polthas in the exhibition space “Aphrodite – Amathousia” in Agios Tychonas (Amathus Avenue).
Seven points in Paphos
The seven sampling points for the free screening programs with rapid antigen test, announced the Ministry of Health in Paphos.
According to the Ministry, the free screening programs with rapid antigen test of the general population and workers continue, with the aim of continuous monitoring of the community and workplaces.
For today, Tuesday, June 8, the sampling units will be located at the following locations in the province of Paphos such as the Former House of the Prefect, Paphos (Griva Digeni Street), 7.30 am-7.30 pm, at the “Stelios Kyriakidis” Stadium, Paphos (West Stand, Gate A1, former Paphos Stadium), 7.30am-7pm, and at King's Avenue Mall, Paphos (main entrance), 8am-7.30pm.
Also at the Geroskipou Sculpture Park, 8.30 am-6pm, at the Chloraka Church, 8.30am-6pm, at the Emba High School, 8.30am-6pm, and at the Community Clinic of Polemi, 8.30 a.m.-6 p.m.
The Ministry of Health clarifies that citizens must provide proof of identity (eg Identity, Driving License, Passport, etc.), for identification purposes.
Also yesterday, 5 cases were identified from 4,000 samples taken during the passenger control at Larnaca and Paphos Airports. Another 1 sample was taken from the residents of Kato Pyrgos Tillirias without detecting a case. 3,456 tests were performed in Paphos yesterday, of which no incidents were detected.
In the meantime, the issuance of SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination Certificate for those who will travel within June begins today. The Certificate will be issued in Greek and English and will be received from a specific point in Paphos and specifically at the Maternity Center, Paphos General Hospital Ahepans 8026, PO Box 8100, Paphos.
