As reported in KYPE, from the Press Office of the Police Headquarters, increased traffic towards the urban centers is expected to occur in the afternoon hours of Monday when the excursionists return.
The police appeal to drivers to be especially careful and to comply with the road traffic code and traffic signals, as well as with the instructions of the police officers on duty.

To prevent road conflicts, ease traffic and provide all possible assistance to citizens who will be traveling on the road network, the measures taken include an increased presence of members of the Police and in particular of the Traffic Departments on highways, interurban roads and especially on the main road arteries.
As part of these measures, intensified police checks of traffic violations will also be carried out, with a particular emphasis on traffic violations that are proven to contribute to fatal and serious road collisions, such as driving speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
