Joint training of special operations forces of Greece, Cyprus and the USA began in the wider sea area of Souda, in Crete.
According to the announcement of GEETHA, the tripartite exercise aims to upgrade the level of cooperation, understanding and interoperability between the participating forces.
“At the same time, the exercise aims to increase the operational capabilities and the exchange of experiences of the special operations forces of Greece with friends and allied countries”, it is noted.
The exercise was planned by the General Staff of National Defense and is coordinated by the interdisciplinary administration of special operations.
