With deep sadness, the University of Cyprusannounces the loss of its first-year student in the Master's Program in Human Resource Management Eleftheria Antoniadis, who passed away suddenly last Saturday.
Eleftheria graduated in 2021 from the University of Essex, England with a degree in Law (Law LLB , degree classification: Class II, Division 1) and, as she wrote in her CV, she applied to the University of Cyprus because she was looking for a career outside of law.
“Eleftheria was pleasant, talkative and social, with a special willingness to help others. She was characterized by her ethos, her sweet smile and her passion for a new career in human resources management. It will be very difficult for all the teaching staff as well as her fellow students to re-enter the classroom without Eleftheria among them,” the University says in a statement.
