What does the controversial bill provide
The leader of the ruling party Mamuka Mdinaradze had just taken the stage when MP Aleko Elisashvili ran at him and his threw a punch.
Parliament then descended into chaos with other MPs trying to separate them and others holding hands with each other.
According to the disputed bill, organizations that receive funding from abroad must register as foreign agents or their contributors risk imprisonment.
