Three arrests is the account of the sad episodes so farthat unfolded at the Tsireion stadium, when fans of the two teams entered the pitch approximately 20 minutes after the start of the football match between Apollon and APOEL.
As mentioned in a previous publication of the Cyprus Times, the tension that prevailed was great, while there were fights between the fans of the two teams. The anger of the fans is also recorded in the images we publish.
In the video below, the fans are recorded frame-by-frame playing with wood, throwing objects and flares.
The match had to be stopped for a while, while strong police forces had to intervene to stop the fights, which proceeded to arrest three people who were taken to the Limassol Police Department for questioning. Information indicates that one of them is a minor. This is, according to the initial information for fans of both teams.
