The Police arrested a 29-year-old person today, in the context of investigating a case of injury and causing serious bodily harm.
Specifically, around at 9.50 last night, information was received about an injured person, outside a building in Larnaca. Members of the Police went to the scene, where they found a man covered in blood.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Larnaca General Hospital, where it was found that he has a number of injuries in various parts of his body and he underwent surgery.
From the tests carried out, it was established that this is a 25-year-old man, while the incident of his injury appears to have taken place in the stairwell of the apartment building where he lives in Larnaca.
The state of health of the 25-year-old is judged by the treating doctors as serious but stable.
During the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against a 29-year-old man, who was arrested this morning on a warrant and taken into custody to facilitate inquiries.
