A new protest event was held on Sunday outside the Presidential Palacerelatives and friends of female non-commissioned officers of the National Guard, for the unacceptable, as they describe, proposals submitted by the Ministry of Defense regarding the restitution of the injustice exist because gender.
During their event, as stated in a statement they sent to the media together with the resolution and which is signed by relatives and friends of non-commissioned officers, delivered a resolution to the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
Then, as part of an event outside of the DISY offices, they also delivered the resolution to President of the party and candidate for President of the Republic of Cyprus, Averof Neophytou.
Through the resolution, the protestors describe the proposal of the Ministry as “offensive” Defense, expressing at the same time their determination to continue with with a more dynamic way of their protests, until the complete restoration of the injustice.
