There is no political identification with ELAM, said DISY President Anita Dimitriou, when asked on Monday if there are positions of DISY that resonate with ELAM .
Responding to journalists' questions, in the context of her statements after the March 25th anniversary parade in Nicosia, Mrs. Dimitriou commented, on the occasion of Marios Pelekanos joining the ELAM European ballot, that everyone is judged by his choices.
When asked what is the situation in DISY after the departure of the former Vice-President of the party and his inclusion in the ELAM European ballot, Ms. Dimitriou said that everyone is judged by their choices
“The world too,” he said, “has a crisis and the Democratic Alarm, despite the difficulties, is based on principles and values that will protect it and help it to remain a leading force in the country, and this is because the country needs a strong DISY to be able to face the difficulties and challenges that exist”.
In response to a question whether DISY's positions have an impact in ELAM as well, Mrs. Dimitriou said that the differences are political and not personal.
“Disy and ELAM have no relationship and no political identification. This is the only sure thing”, he concluded.
