“In this election, I urge everyone who feels they are not being properly represented to cast their vote for change”
A close-up of a cute puppy created by artificial intelligence will be the approved logo of his candidacy to appear on the June 9 ballot, independent MEP candidate Andronikos Zervides said in a statement, referring to recent speculation on social media about the logo of his election campaign.
Mr Zervides adds that his first AI-generated campaign logo design was rejected by the Home Office because it contained an olive branch. He also notes that “his campaign's second AI-generated logo design featuring a cute puppy resting peacefully on a hot dog bun” it was also rejected by the Ministry.
He says he appealed the decision on the grounds that AKEL's logo includes a giant hammer and that ELAM's logo features a giant sword. “My plea was denied, so we settled for a close-up of the original AI-generated cute puppy's face. This will be the approved logo that will appear on the June 9 ballot, he adds.
“In this election, I urge everyone who feels unrepresented to correctly, to cast their vote for change, for dignity and for a future where everyone will be valued equally, he concludes.
