The work of the evaluation drilling “Glaucus-2” in Unit 10 of the Cyprus EEZ has begun.
Specifically, the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry announced that work has begun on the Glaucus-2 rating drilling rig in Unit 10 of the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Cyprus, by the joint venture ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Cyprus (Offshro) Limited and Qatar International LLC, which holds a Hydrocarbon Exploration License for this Item.
The drilling works, carried out by the ship – drilling rig “Stena Forth”, will be monitored on a continuous basis by the staff of the Hydrocarbon Service of the Ministry
