Based on 4 axes will be the fees of private hospitals in the GeSY with the new year, based on the proposal prepared by the Health Insurance Organization strong> after the separate meetings he had on Monday with the Pancypriot Association of Private Hospitals and the Association of Small and Medium Hospitals.
According to information from Cyprus Times, the OAU yesterday afternoon completed its proposal for the new remuneration framework for the hospitals in the NHS and sent it to PASIN and the Association of Small and Medium Hospitals, in order to study it and in December to enter into a dialogue until they reach a new agreement.
It is reminded that the agreement signed by the private hospitals and OAU ends at the end of the year and in case a new agreement is not signed until on January 1, 2023 then the existing agreement will be automatically renewed for another 6 months, until a new one is signed. As a competent source from the OAU told us, due to the delays resulting from the changes in the Organization's Board of Directors, the agreement may not be signed before January 1, 2023, in order to give more time for consultation with private hospitals, and the aim is to achieve this before February 2023.
