The 10th International Multidisciplinary Scientific Biomedical Conference, which started on Thursday in Nicosia at the European University of Cyprus, has developed into a meeting point for health professionals, academics and medical students due to its multidisciplinary approach, said the Minister of Health Michalis Hatzipantela.
In his address at the opening ceremony of the conference, the Minister said that the conference is an excellent initiative which eventually became an annual tradition and a meeting point for health professionals, academicians and medical students due to its multi-disciplinary approach aimed at the continuous medical development of the participants.< /p>
He noted that the pandemic has shown us the need to be constantly alert and ready for the next challenge adding that academia and scientists must constantly be one step ahead to innovate and prepare.

The Minister stated that further development and progress in medicine is i the means by which civilization will progress and improve the quality of life of citizens.
