The Board of Directors of the volleyball department of NEA SALAMINA Famagusta would like to inform the friends of the team that it will file an objection against the prestige of last night's home game against Omonia Nicosia.
More specifically during the 4th set, our team expressed the intention to object to the validity of the match, due to violation of the Official Volleyball Regulations, which altered the final score of the set and hence the outcome of the match. The details of the objection as well as the evidence will be attached together with the letter of objection that will be sent to the Federation.
With this we would like to clarify that the intention and permanent position of our Association is to win the matches on the field and not in the courtrooms, and at the same time to emphasize that the reasons for the objection have nothing to do with the Omonia Nicosia club. who have no responsibility for the above.
In no case, however, do we want any sign of kindness on the part of the people of our union to be considered a weakness in defending the interests of our team. The only thing we demand is RESPECT for one of the most historic clubs and one of the pillars of the Cyprus Volleyball!
