Revenue and operating surpluses

The Agency's total actual revenue for the year, he continued, is expected to reach 502 million euros. This amount, he said, includes for the first time the revenues from the Public Health Services, the Services of General Economic Interest (SGEI) and other Services provided by the Organization to other services and departments of the Government.

“Considering that the Operating Expenses for the year, which do not include capital expenditures, are estimated at 498 million euros, it is expected that for 2022 the Agency will present a small operating surplus of 4 million euros,” he stressed.

Also, according to the plans of OKYPY, operating surpluses are expected to increase in the coming years and specifically are expected to amount to 16.5 million euros in 2023 and 26.5 million euros in 2024.

250 cm for equipment and infrastructure upgrade-expansion

For the three years 2022 – 2024, he pointed out, the Management of the Organization has prepared an ambitious program of capital expenditures totaling about 250 million, of which 100 million for equipment and 150 million for the upgrade and expansion of its building infrastructure.

According to Mr. Panagidis, these investments will be financed, in addition to the operating surpluses of the Organization, by the Fund for Recovery and Sustainability but also through State Sponsorship during this period, through which the practical support of the State for the upgrade is shown. of Health services provided by the Organization.

“Through the Budget for the three years 2022 – 2023, the Management confirms its commitment to achieving the important goal of the Financial Autonomy of OKYPY”, he added.
