According to preliminary data from the Department of Meteorology, in the last 24 hours up to 08:00 today, 3.4 millimeters of rain fell in the free areas, with the total rainfall for the month amounting to at 48.2 millimeters, which corresponds to 86% of normal for the month (53.3 mm).
However, since October 1 (the start of the hydrological year), the total rain was 142.3 millimeters, which corresponds to 166% of the normal for the period (86mm) .
Based on the data, the highest percentages of rain are recorded at the Limassol New Port station, where the rainfall reached 235% of normal, followed by the Pafos Airport station with 221% and the Saita station with 207% of the regular season.
