Sixty-six new COVID-19 cases were reported in the occupied total of 8,140 tests performed in the last 24 hours.
According to the “Ministry of Health”, 4 incidents concerned passengers from abroad, 13 were contacts of a confirmed case and 49 are local contamination.
17 are from Nicosia, 22 from Kyrenia, 7 from Famagusta, 2 from Trikomo and 1 from Morphou.
The total number of incidents in the occupied areas amounts to 8,278 while 35 people have lost their lives to the disease.
