After ten years of existence of the French Cypriot school in Nicosia, the Minister of Education and the French Ambassador officially inaugurated, on Tuesday, the 2nd French Cypriot school in our country, which is hosted at the First Municipal School of Limassol.

The inauguration was followed by the signing of the agreement for granting the school floor – with a duration of ten years – by the President of the Ephorate of Greek Schools of Limassol, Dino Hellina and the President of the Administrative Committee of the French Cypriot school, Petros Iosifidis.
In his greeting, the Minister of Education, Prodromos Prodromou, expressed the satisfactionand emotion that became a reality, after many efforts, another step in tightening the relations between the two countries.
The creation of the French Cypriot school in Limassol is important, he said, “because it also implements a decision of President of the Republic of Cyprus and the President of France and is the fruit of the continuous efforts of the two countries to strengthen our bonds of friendship, based on principles and values “, while indicating that education plays a leading role in the defense and promotion of these principles and values.
