A 29-year-old man was transported to the Limassol General Hospital yesterday after being stabbed.
Police information states that the 29-year-old was out of work in Limassol with his 32-year-old partner, when their discussion became intense over personal issues, as a result of which the latter pulled out a knife and injured his right elbow.
An ambulance was called to the scene, according to the same information, which transported the young man to the hospital, where it was determined from the initial medical examinations that he had a wound in his right elbow with a possible artery incision. He was then admitted to the orthopedic department of Limassol Hospital and underwent surgery to repair his wound.
The 32-year-old, who was found at the scene, was arrested for the serious crime of stabbing, after a knife was found in her possession. An arrest warrant was issued against her for all the offenses under investigation, she was arrested and detained.
During the interrogation, the woman admitted guilt, while the investigations into the incident continue.
