Shortly before the start of the summer season in the hotel industry, the Cypriot company Treppides Investments & amp; Holdings made another business move.
After four years in the Greek tourism industry, Treppides Investments & amp; Holdings, which created, built and managed Oniro Hotels in Athens and Mykonos, entered into an agreement with the family office of Stavros Ephraimidis and the & nbsp; Delfi Partners Group, which acquired four hotel units belonging to Oniro H's portfolio.
The acquisition concerns Oniro City in Kolonaki, Asomaton in historic Thiseio, Oniro Suites in Mykonos Town and the property under construction on the cosmopolitan Milioni Street in Kolonaki.
Simultaneously with the hotel units, the family office of Stavros Ephraimidis and the Delfi Partners Group were secured by Treppides Investments & amp; Holdings and the brand name Oniro Hotels by founding the Oniro Hotels Group.
The owner of Treppides Investments & amp; Holdings Nikolas Treppidis expressed his satisfaction for the implementation of this important deal which was as a result of many months of negotiations.
“This is a highly successful agreement that strengthens and creates new data in the field of Greek tourism while at the same time highlighting the insight of Treppides Investments & amp; Holdings to invest, develop and capitalize its investments. I am sure that the acquisition of the hotels and the creation of the Oniro Hotels Group will contribute to the further development of the tourism industry in Greece and in Europe “.
The newly formed Oniro Hotels Group of the family offices of Stavros Ephraimidis and the & nbsp; Delfi Partners Group, has an initial investment of eight hotel units in key locations, in the center of Athens, but also in other popular tourist destinations.
It has in its portfolio so far three hotel units in the Kolonaki area, a hotel unit in Monastiraki, a hotel unit in Zakynthos, a hotel unit in Skiathos and two hotel units in Mykonos, one of which is under construction.
Aim of the newly established group to have a leading role in the tourism industry by strengthening its portfolio in the coming years with other hotels in Greece and Europe.
Along with the investment of the eight hotel units, the Oniro Hotels Group group proceeded and the establishment of the hotel management company (Oniro Hotel Management) in the context of this strategic partnership. In addition to the group hotels, this company will also manage hotel units by banks, institutional and private investors and other entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.
