Plenty of complaints brought the written of today's course of the Pan-Cypriot Examinations.
Students who sat for the Mathematics class talk about one of the hardest papers they could be given. The Cyprus Timesshe contacted a math teacher who reported that the writing was terrible. Although, as he noted, the subjects were within the material, nevertheless the degree of difficulty was very high.
“Every year in the written exam, the setters they put one or two exercises that the degree of difficulty is for strong solvers. This year all the writing was with these kinds of exercises. This means that the time needed was much longer and probably even a teacher would have had difficulty completing it within three hours”, as he said.
Moves have already been made to the Ministry
However, the Organized Parents of Secondary Education have already mobilized and contacted the Ministry of Education.
According to the President of the Organization Loizos Konstantinou , who spoke on Alpha's midday show, said that the Ministry had been asked to take appropriate steps to compensate for the degree of difficulty.
It was also requested that the authorities be mobilized to look into the matter.
