Light barogradient affects the area. The barometric low named "EVA", located in Southern Italy, is moving southeast and will begin to affect the region early Monday.
The director of the Department of Meteorology, Kleanthis Nikolaidis, however, emphasized that tomorrow, which is the first day of the hunt, the temperatures will be above normal for the season and due to the increased humidity, discomfort may prevail in some areas.
Sunday night we will have the first clouds from EVA, while in the early morning hours of Monday isolated storms will be recorded on the northern and western coasts. During the day, however, we will have rain and storms in several areas.

Tonight the weather will be mostly sunny. Later, on the western and northern coasts, increased low cloud may be observed, while during the morning hours inland and eastern areas, local thin fog is expected to form. The winds will blow northwest to northeast and on the northern coast southeast, weak 2 to 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm and locally up to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees in the interior, around 15 on the coasts and around 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tomorrow the weather will initially be mostly clear, however gradually there will be locally temporarily increased cloudiness which is expected to give isolated rains, without excluding the possibility of an isolated storm, in areas in the west and also in the north of the island, during the midday hours and after. Winds will initially be variable light, 3 Beaufort, to gradually become mainly southwest to northwest, light and locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 27 degrees in the interior, around 25 on the coasts and around 15 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tomorrow night there will be locally increased clouds which are expected to give isolated rain and later isolated storms, on the west and north coasts. The winds will blow northwest to northeast and on the northern coast southeast, weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough.
On Monday the weather will soon become mostly cloudy. During the morning hours and after, isolated rains or even isolated storms are expected, mainly on the western and northern coasts. Later, intermittent rains and local storms are expected, initially in the western part of the island and progressively in the rest of the areas. Locally the effects are likely to be intense.
On Tuesday the weather will be partly cloudy and intermittently cloudy with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the eastern half of the island. The weather is expected to improve in the late afternoon. On Wednesday, locally increased clouds are expected to give isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly from noon onwards.
The temperature on Monday is expected to drop, while until Wednesday no significant change is expected, to fluctuate near and slightly below the average climatic values for the season.
