The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) has announced that as of January 1, 2024, there will be changes to the Secretariat of the Organization.
He is retiring after 41 years of service < Deputy General Manager Kostas Christofidiss. Kostas was hired in 1983 and rose through all the hierarchical ranks, serving the Cypriot business community with zeal and dedication, gaining the appreciation and recognition of all, inside and outside OEB. He remains at the disposal of the President and the DG to contribute to the smooth transfer of his responsibilities, until June 2024.
Lena Panagiotou is promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager,which together with her new duties also maintains the direction of the Department of Labor Relations & of Social Policy in which she has been the Director since 2017. Lena has been serving at OEB since 2004, immediately after completing her studies in Law and Political Sciences at the University of Leeds in Great Britain.
Promoted to the position of the Director of the Business Development Department, the until now Deputy Director of the same Department, Paris Anastasiou. Paris has served in OEB in various important positions since 1997, after his studies in Accounting & Finance at London Southbank University, while he successfully completed the? exams of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA).
The former Head of the same Department, Maria Stylianou Theodorou, is promoted to the position of Director of the Human Resources Department. Maria has served OEB in various positions since 2006, with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester and International Employment Relations and Human Resources Management from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) in Great Britain.
The other Management positions in OEB are paid by the following executives:
Director of the Department of Energy & Environment Andri Dimitriadis,
Director of Administration & Finance Antonis Fragoudis, with
Head of Administration Giola Gypsioti and
General Manager Michalis Antoniou.
