Two cases of driving under the influence of drugs are being investigated by the Police in Paphos

In the context of traffic checks to prevent traffic collisions, two persons were reportedly positively identified in a preliminary check of driving under the influence of drugs.
According to the Office of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, these are two men aged 21 years and the second 34 years old.
Specifically, the 21-year-old was stopped for a check by members of the Paphos Traffic Police around 11:00 pm on Friday night while driving his vehicle on Agapinoros Avenue. In a preliminary drug test he showed a positive result and samples were taken to undergo a special laboratory drug test.
The second driver aged 34 was also driving his vehicle on Agapinoros Avenue in Paphos where he was stopped for a check around 24: 00 at midnight by members of the Paphos Traffic Police.
