The Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Jane Hall Luth, is expected to continue her contacts with the parties online in preparation for the informal Conference on the Cyprus issue, without ruling out her return to Cyprus if necessary.
A diplomatic source told KYPE that “Jane Hall Luth's consultations with the parties to prepare for the informal conference will continue in the coming weeks.”

He added that Ms. Lut “is currently in New York from where she is expected to have online or telephone consultations with the parties.”
The same source did not rule out the possibility that Ms. Lut will return to Cyprus for contacts with the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis and the Turkish Cypriot leader, Ersin Tatar, if this is deemed necessary.
