Anorthosis announced a great move, which decided to support those affected by the deadly and devastating fires.
For this purpose, the team of Famagusta will offer the net income of the super cup match with Omonia, with 50% of it going to the families of the four Egyptians who lost their lives, while the other half will be given to support of fire victims in the mountainous area of Larnaca and Limassol.
The announcement of Anorthosis:
The Board of Directors of Anorthosis Famagusta Football decided to take action in support of those affected by the recent fires that hit Cyprus and cost the lives of four of our fellow human beings and destroyed the property of hundreds of others while causing enormous environmental damage. Since its inception, Anorthosis has been a supporter and helper to everyone affected by tragedies, many of which she has experienced and is experiencing with her own world.
Specifically, the net income from the tickets of the super cup match with Omonia (13/7, 21:00) will be given as a small contribution of Anorthosis to heal the wounds caused by the fiery flame as follows:
-50% will be given to the families of our four Egyptian fellow human beings, Morzok Shady Morzok, Hisa Melad Farouk, Ezat Salama Josef and Maged Nabil Yonan. who lost their lives in such a tragic way.
The rest will be contributed to the account of the Republic of Cyprus for the support of the fire victims in the mountainous region of Larnaca and Limassol.
