To celebrate Lunar New Year 2023, Bang & Olufsen is pleased to announce a limited edition collection inspired by the classic colors and elements of China's ancient Silk Road.
The limited edition Lunar New Year collection features five iconic Bang & Olufsen. BeoPlay A9 home speaker, BeoLit 20 portable speaker, BeoSound A1 portable speaker, BeoPlay H95 headphones and BeoPlay EX wireless noise canceling headphones.
The Silk Road spanned more than 6000 kilometers and played a central role in facilitating economic, cultural and political interactions between East and West for more than 2000 years. The importance of the Silk Road as a piece of history is still recognized today.

Wandering the Silk Road, interpreting traditional aesthetics
Alongside The Silk Road, this new collection draws inspiration from the traditional Lunar New Year color palette of Lunar Red, Jade Green and Gold Tone. From the wooden legs of the BeoPlay A9 to the beautiful aluminum cases of the BeoPlay H95 and BeoPlay EX portables, the entire product collection embodies the theme.
Paying homage to Chinese culture, the collection also incorporates handmade leather knots , symbolizing happy reunions, in the designs of BeoSound A1 and BeoLit 20.
Even the product packaging incorporates the aesthetics of the traditional Lunar New Year. The elegant silk ribbon design, which adorns the cover of the BeoPlay A9, runs through each product packaging, creating a harmonious line and flow.

Bang & Olufsen is working with Chinese musicians Lumi Liu, Matt Lv and Corsak Hu to create unique content that celebrates the collection as well as the culture and traditions of the East in their communities and beyond.
