He noted that to date 8 children have fallen ill with this syndrome and there is an increased incidence in the last two months, due to the deterioration of the epidemiological picture that had occurred. “Statistically one in 160 children with coronavirus can develop this syndrome,” said Dr. Abraham, stressing that parents should be concerned about symptoms because “this complication may be punishable, as with the literature it can cost the life or create myocarditis in the child “.

According to Dr. Abraham, some of the symptoms of MISC are: The child may suddenly have a fever, which lasts for more than three days, the child may look distressed / have no endurance and appetite, may have coughing and difficulty breathing. , rashes appear on the skin or his eyes are red. In such a case, the child should see a doctor immediately.
