Nikos Christodoulidis raises his pace and goes deep into the pre-election period. The independent candidate has recently been in a constant campaign with contacts, meetings and speeches at gatherings of his supporters and friends in all provinces. And while the final official decision in support of his candidacy by the Democratic Party is expected on Sunday, in the following days he will proceed to a second round of meetings with the Democratic Party and EDEK. Two parties that have not yet made their final decisions on the presidential election and in which, according to the information, there is a strong current of support for his candidacy. At the same time, in the coming days, Nikos Christodoulidis will send his answers to the questionnaire of the Ecologists.
The program of activities of the independent candidate is not limited to them, as in the next period he will be in Athens and Thessaloniki to speak after an invitation he has received. Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will also be present at the Athens event. A source from the staff of Nikos Christodoulidis noted in “F” that despite the initial planning for the completion of the second round of dialogue with society until the end of June, however, it is extended due to the fact that too many people and organized groups ask to meet with him. Yesterday, Nikos Christodoulidis had a meeting with the members of the Federation of Cyprus Patients' Associations (OSAK). According to a statement issued by the candidate's staff, the meeting discussed major issues in the field of health, such as the GESS, public hospitals, First Aid Departments, while views were expressed regarding the improvement of services provided, the creation of university hospitals, strengthening controls and more.
