Building a better future for children, through Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility is a huge asset for Libertex, with the company remaining committed to supporting children in need and the agencies that surround them. Last year Libertex signed a cooperation protocol with the international humanitarian organization Hope For Children – CRC Policy Center (HFC) which is based in Cyprus. With the aim of providing long-term support to the Organization's humanitarian programs and structures, as well as the implementation of joint actions, in the context of the protection of children's rights, the company, as part of the memorandum of cooperation, donated 40,000 euros to the Organization. Part of the monetary donation made by Libertex was used for the total renovation of the bedrooms at the “House of Hope” in Nicosia, from stripping and building new walls, to furnishing and decorating the space.
The radically renovated premises provide a beautiful and safe environment for the children they host, housing their dreams and hopes. Libertex recently donated two cars, which will strengthen the Agency's vehicle fleet, thus ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of the very important services provided to children. Also, Libertex supports the “Change One Life” foundation abroad which helps orphans find a family.
