Vavla
The village of Vavla in the Larnaca district invites you for a “Musical Promenade.”
After the great success of last year’s inaugural event, the community decided to make the Musical Promenade an annual festival. On Saturday, May 25 from 17:00 until midnight, the paved streets of the village will be bustling with visitors and music.
The promenade will host performances by Island Seeds, Giannis Koutis & Marios Menelaou, Zeyn Mroueh, neo-soul band Nabuma, Yiorgos Vlamis, Milasa and classical duo Plektó.
Upon arrival, visitors will receive a brochure with a map showing the performances’ locations and descriptions of the various acts.
The promenades will converge at the village theater, where the band Matzounia (trio)will invite the audience to dance to the rhythms of Northern Greece. There will also be an exhibition of paintings by Cypriot artist Pascalis Anastasi in the former village school.
There will be a variety of local products and food and drink for sale, and Prozak will run the bar.
The evening will culminate in the center of the village, with music from DJ Ariadne.
