A 27-year-old and a 28-year-old man, who were arrested yesterday for the purpose of police examinations regarding the case of conspiracy to murder and homicide, with the victim 61-year-old Dorotheos Dimitriadis, committed on January 4, in Latsia, were brought before the District Court of Nicosia, for the issuance of their arrest warrants. .

Specifically, two men aged 35 and 26 and a woman aged 31, who were arrested in the early hours of last Thursday, January 05, are under eight-day detention, based on decrees issued by the District Court of Nicosia, on the same day, while two other men, aged 24 and 25, who were arrested by members of the Police, on Thursday night, are under seven-day detention, based on decrees issued yesterday Friday, by the District Court of Nicosia.
According to the data under investigation, around 6.45 last Wednesday, January 04, a number of people attacked the 61-year-old. Members of the Police were called and rushed to the scene, to which the 61-year-old reported that he had been beaten by other persons. A few minutes later, the 61-year-old lost consciousness, and after being examined by an ambulance crew that had been called to the scene, it was found that he had no signs of life.
Medical examiners were called to the scene for an autopsy, according to their findings, the 61-year-old suffered various external injuries to his face and body. According to the findings from the autopsy performed the next day by the medical examiners on the body, the 61-year-old's death was caused by hemorrhagic shock, as a result of bleeding from traumatic injuries to vessels and organs.
