PtD and the President of the Commission planted an olive tree near the entrance of the Presidential Palace
An olive tree was planted on Wednesday afternoon , near the entrance of the Presidential Palace, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulidis, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen as part of the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Cyprus's accession to the European Union.
President Christodoulidis welcomed the President of the Committee at the entrance of the Presidential Palace and then they headed to an area near the entrance of the Presidential Palace where in the presence of dozens of students from the schools of Cyprus the two of them planted an olive tree.
