The actuarial study demonstrates, among other things, that TKA is sustainable until 2080
Presented on Monday at the Social Insurance Council, where trade union and employer representatives participate , as informed by KYPE, the main results of the actuarial study carried out on the sustainability of the Social Insurance Fund (SIF), in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance Yiannis Panagiotou.
The results of the study will be presented on Tuesday morning by the actuaries of the International Labor Office (ILO), in the context of a press conference, which will take place in the building of the Ministry of Labor in the presence of the Minister of Labour.
Specifically, the study on the sustainability of the TKA, which is done every three years, according to the law, will be presented by the head of the Actuarial Services Unit Andre Picard and the project manager Kostas Stavrakis and has a reference year of 2020 (the reference year of the previous study was 2017).
As the KYPE is informed, the actuarial study demonstrates, among other things, that the TKA is sustainable until 2080, as was demonstrated by the previous study and finds that TKA is not at risk and that a real reserve should be created.
