The person in question was arrested yesterday for the case of arson of vehicles in Nicosia.
The Police proceeded yesterday on the basis of a court warrant to arrest a person, in the context of investigating two cases of arson of premises (cafeteria – cafe restaurant) that were committed recently in the province of Nicosia.
This is a 44-year-old man, who was taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
Today he is expected to be brought before the District Court of Nicosia, for the issuance of a warrant of arrest.

The arsons of the buildings took place on February 10 and April 13, 2024.
