“The pregnancy came within 3 months of dating, the only one who wasn't shocked was my mom” – “Andreas was very confident. He kept telling me “see where you will be pregnant from this month” then she told me “it will be a boy””
The Andrea Kafa was invited on the ShowBiz podcast, “Winter Is Back” with the journalist Charalambos Heimonas. Among other things, the well-known sports writer revealed how she met and fell in love with her husband -now- Andreas Polyviou, but also their desire to have a child from the first months of their acquaintance.
Originally , Andrea Kafa talking about the pregnancy, revealed: “The great changes for woman in regard to herself are those upon her and within her. I believe that pregnancy brings the couple closer. In the beginning it was very difficult because I had to get rid of all the bad habits and pay attention.I was a person who was used to running around all day and not caring if I ate right, if I slept, and all of a sudden I had to be very formal about these things. At first I struggled, but then I found my balance. At first, you get a bit psychological with your body changing, then you get used to it”.
Then, the well-known sports writer speaking to ShowBiz podcast recounted how she met her lover: “Andrea and I met through the media, without having special contacts. Initially, we had some contacts regarding the work part. At one point we put aside the work part, it was a bit unnecessary. The click happened when we went out for the first time in common, it was the first time we met properly. […] We had met a couple of times in the workplace and I was impressed, but it is very different when you go out with someone normally. […] I'm usually a bit suspicious in flirting, but with Andreas I wasn't at all. It felt like we had known each other for a long time already. I felt a comfort from the beginning. We both feel like we've been together for five years, that's how I felt from the beginning.”
«The pregnancy occurred within 3 months of dating, but it was something that was done consciously. Andreas had told me that we will get married and have a baby, whichever comes first. Finally, the child came first and then the marriage. […] We said let's start trying and the first time we took the pregnancy test it came out positive.
I was very shocked because I thought it would take us a longer time. Andreas, on the other hand, was very confident. He kept telling me “see where you will be pregnant from this month” then she told me “it will be a boy”. He made some such prophecies. I was more shocked than Andreas. Andreas didn't know what to do. Should he celebrate or talk to me who was shocked?”, he concluded.
