Energy Minister Giorgos Papanastasiou had a meeting with the vice president of Exxonmobil John Ardill in Abu Dhabi.

In a post on the X platform wrote that they discussed the company's plans with Qatarenergy's partners, specifically for the development of the gas discovery in the Glafkos field, block 10 of the Cypriot EEZ, possible synergies with companies in the region and exploratory drilling in block 5, until the end of 2024.
