The holding of a protest event next Monday , September 11, with a two-hour work stoppage from 9:30 to 11:30 and a gathering outside the Prisons (at the Gate), the Prison Personnel Branch of PASYDY decided during the extraordinary General Assembly on Thursday.
In the announcement, the industry, after stating that the recent fact of the unjust, as it says, availability of yet another prison guard, touches on problems about which “the Union has been shouting for years”, including the issues of staff understaffing, staff advancement, overcrowding and working conditions in prisons, calls on all staff to attend.
