In fact, AKEL Secretary General Stefanos Stefanou referred to the script that has been strongly developed, when asked about it during his statements during a tour of his party.
The secretary general of AKEL said meaningfully that “you see me smiling because for AKEL no publications or whispers will decide, for AKEL its people will decide through the procedures provided by its Statute”. He noted that he will not be the one to add to this scenario that comes and goes, noting that “we also listen to it and just smile, because we have not even discussed it and from here one can understand how much truth this script has” .
