In order to ensure that all citizens who had contact with HIV-positive people will be evaluated and tested in a laboratory, the Ministry of Health invites those citizens who visited the Diocese of Kiti on September 14-18 or had contact with a confirmed incident. Nea Salamina and have not been informed by the Tracking Team of the Ministry, to contact the call center 1412 (Monday-Friday, 8 am – 8 pm), to evaluate the contact they had and to arrange an appointment for sampling.
It is pointed out that those who visited the Diocese or had contact with people who are positive for the virus in Nea Salamina and develop symptoms, should immediately contact their Personal Physician for medical evaluation .
The purpose of the measure is to determine if there are any additional positive incidents in the community that may be associated with the two chains, and to limit the further spread of the virus.
