The warning of the Meteorological Service for the heat conditions that are predicted to prevail tomorrow, does not concern the coastal areas, where the temperature is expected to range between 34 and 38 degrees Celsius.

We seem to be breathing from Saturday onwards, since the temperature will drop 4-5 degrees Celsius inside. Specifically, from Saturday to Monday, temperatures are expected between 38 and 39 degrees Celsius.

One of the highlights of the heatwave we are experiencing at this time is the long duration of the very high temperatures. A typical example is that in Nicosia today from 10:30 in the morning the temperature reached 38 degrees Celsius.

Extremely high temperatures were issued by the Meteorological Department, which is valid from the evening of Thursday, July 1st until the afternoon of Friday, July 2nd.

An announcement from the Meteorological Department states that based on the orange level of danger tonight the minimum temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius inland where tomorrow the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 43 degrees Celsius while in the higher mountains the temperature is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius. .
